Join us for a special evening as we host Tsegab Ayele Tulu, the passionate owner and manager of Heleph Coffee in Bona Zuria, Ethiopia. This is a unique opportunity to delve into the world of Ethiopian coffee and hear directly from a producer who is upholding a rich family tradition while championing quality, community, transparency, and sustainability.
Heleph Coffee, a name meaning "to change over or passing over" in Hebrew, embodies Tsegab's vision to revolutionize the coffee industry in his region. Building on nearly 30 years of family expertise in coffee farming and processing, Tsegab and his father, Ayele Tulu, are dedicated to producing some of the finest coffees in Ethiopia. Their commitment to direct trade, empowering women farmers, and environmentally friendly practices sets them apart.
During this evening Tsegab will share with us his personal journey in coffee and what inspired him to establish Heleph Coffee, the founding principles of Heleph Coffee and their innovative approach to traceability and quality and the challenges and considerations in producing high-quality coffee in Ethiopia today.


2nd Hand Coffee Material Market
Everyone loves upgrades, so everyone probably has some coffee gear lying around that they no longer use. At this secondhand market, you can sell all your coffee tools that are just collecting dust. Maybe someone is looking for exactly the thing you're ready to part with. The market takes place at our roastery in Dok Noord during the big East-Flemish cupping event.
Only secondhand items, no shops allowed.
Who? Individual coffee enthusiasts.
What? Flea market for coffee lovers. Secondhand gear only!

We’ll start with a brief introduction and guided tour of our roastery. Afterwards, you’ll have the chance to participate in a professional cupping session where we will cup coffees from different origins and different processing methods.
